  • So glad to say finally some decent chips at the top of Thornbury! Smashing chips really fresh and tasty, great price and portion size exactly right for it. Loved the mushy peas and curry sauce too. The owners are a breath of fresh air. Really friendly service happy to go here all the time for our chip dinners now. Thanks Jazz!

  • Just had fish and chips with curry sauce and my partner had chips, curry sauce with mushy peas. Genuinely the best I've had in a while. The owner seems like a great guy and knows his stuff.

  • Tried this for the first time since it came under new management: absolutely amazing, huge piece of fish, light, fluffy, flaky, tasted superb, cooked to perfection. Chips and scampi also amazing. Price very fair. Thornbury High Street now has serious competition for fish & chips lovers. Thanks to Mervyn of course for the recommendation!
